Raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, She first fell in love with food while harvesting tomatoes and sweet corn with my grandparents, selling the family’s bounty from the back of her grandfather’s truck. That early connection to flavor, family, and storytelling planted a seed that would grow into something much bigger than she ever imagined.
I grew up in the heart of the Midwest, selling sweet corn and tomatoes from the back of my grandfather’s truck — and learning early that food was more than sustenance. It was celebration. After years of living and learning across the U.S. and Mexico, I landed in Durango and built The Yellow Carrot from scratch — with bold flavors, big love, and zero apologies.
Today, I’m not just a chef — I’m a creator. A designer of spaces, flavors, and experiences that stir the soul. From handcrafted menus to unforgettable dinner parties, my work is a love letter to joy, artistry, and full-sensory living. Whether I'm piping buttercream, playing the clarinet, or dreaming up my next food revolution, one thing is certain:
I was born to make life more delicious."
The electric thrill of walking into my SELF. Turning my wildest visions into reality with unstoppable fire with a heart-centered mission to love the world.
Stillness between the sizzle. That not everything needs fixing. How to lead with softness and steel. That flavor is a feeling. That mystery makes magic.
Soulless food. Lifeless routines. Playing by the rules. Shrinking power. Watered-down anything. Energy that doesn’t light the room on fire.
Life is divine masterpiece. Food from the earth carries a message. The table is sacred. Art belongs in the everyday. Passion is meant to pour over. And no one leaves hungry for anything.
I believe in the magic that happens when visionaries come together. From curated culinary experiences to limited-edition product drops and creative collaborations — I'm always open to dreaming big, doing good, and making something unforgettable.
